Letters to Lyla and Lottie

We spent Thanksgiving in Idaho this year, amongst good food and family as always.  I’ve decided the thing I love about Idaho visits is that everyone devotes the whole holiday to spending time with each other.  It isn’t about activities, outings, or any thing except spending time together the whole time.  It’s nice to be away from all the distractions.  Lyla got to play with her 2nd cousin Taylee, which was so fun for her.  They played so well together.  In one of the above pics Lyla is brushing Taylee’s hair.  While we were there we went to the Light Parade in Preston and drove by this house that does the most amazing light display ever!  They have wood cut-outs of just about every Disney character there is.  You make a loop through their mile long drive way just to see it all.  So we let Lyla come up from to look and she LOVED it.  I really didn’t think she’d give too much attention to it but I was wrong.  She kept say “oooh!” and “look!”.  She even pointed about Mickey before we saw him.  Of course I made Todd drive through twice   The drive to Idaho is long, but always worth it.  We have lots to be Thankful for this year.
