welcome to my internet home. this blog used to be cool, with insights about mental health, social policy, pop culture and the like. now, it's a chaotic collection of my mis-spelled, scribbled-down notes on motherhood (who has time to proof read?). it's over-ran with goldfish cracker crumbles, slobery wet kisses, and un-edited pictures. and i would have it no other way. feel free to laugh and cry along side me while I balance a practice (mental heath) and motherhood, and their interconectedness

Carving Pumpkins

156155154153152151150149148147146145

We carved pumpkins early this year because we wanted to make sure and do it when the Daddy was home.  It was so cute, Lyla ran into the store with me to pick them out while Lottie and dad sat in the car.  Lyla insisted on carrying her pumpkin and even having it sit on her lap on the drive home.  Silly girl.  We printed some stencils online and went to work.  Dad and I had a friendly competition.  He followed the directions to the T and I did my own version.  We’ll let you all be the judge but keep in mind mine took half the time (meticulous dad).  Mine is the scary one and his is the silly one.  Lyla just had fun digging the seeds out and watching us.
