welcome to my internet home. this blog used to be cool, with insights about mental health, social policy, pop culture and the like. now, it's a chaotic collection of my mis-spelled, scribbled-down notes on motherhood (who has time to proof read?). it's over-ran with goldfish cracker crumbles, slobery wet kisses, and un-edited pictures. and i would have it no other way. feel free to laugh and cry along side me while I balance a practice (mental heath) and motherhood, and their interconectedness

2 months...in pictures

$100 bucks later the computer is out of the shop and working like new. Lyla survived her shots and actually took it better than I expected; she cried harder when I handed her over to the doctor than she did getting poked. There was someone interning so then both gave her a shot at the same time so I think that helped. She weighed in at 9.5 lbs...creepin up on the 10th percentile. Woot woot (we take successses where we can get them). Her length is 21.5 inches which I beleive was somewhere in the 20th percentile. She's offically outgrown her newborn clothing (that go up to 8 lbs) and has moved on to size 1 diapers. Both were tough transitions for me and I still haven't been able to take her newborn clothing off the hangers. Someday.... Here's, yet another overkill, on photos.

The definition of skill-sucking on my first AND shaking the rattle and the SAME time.
Good thing (for now) that I get my feet from my dad cuz I can wear big girl shoes now!
My ouchies..and chunky legs :)

Mom wasn't jokin about my lashes
Now over powering the bear

I always thought it was gross when people posted poop pictures-like really? But I had to demonstrate the epic nature of her blow outs.
I now very much enjoy my bouncer when it vibrates

Off to church for the first time. Even though mom fed me right before we left, I still felt as though I needed to breastfeed twice and of course poop twice.
My Sunday best

What happens when dad dresses me....on backwards. Good greif.
My play mat! Love looking in the mirror (what? can ya blame me?)
Lookin intently

Yea, I make cheesy tourist shirts look good
Check out my mouse shoes

What a great web log. I spend hours on the net reading blogs, about tons of various subjects. I have to first of all give praise to whoever created your theme and second of all to you for writing what i can only describe as an fabulous article. I honestly believe there is a skill to writing articles that only very few posses and honestly you got it. The combining of demonstrative and upper-class content is by all odds super rare with the astronomic amount of blogs on the cyberspace.
