welcome to my internet home. this blog used to be cool, with insights about mental health, social policy, pop culture and the like. now, it's a chaotic collection of my mis-spelled, scribbled-down notes on motherhood (who has time to proof read?). it's over-ran with goldfish cracker crumbles, slobery wet kisses, and un-edited pictures. and i would have it no other way. feel free to laugh and cry along side me while I balance a practice (mental heath) and motherhood, and their interconectedness

Halloween Learning Day

This is another fun and simple learning activity.  SPOOOOKY glow in the dark play dough.  Just add fluorescent or glow in the dark paint to any play dough.  We found the best way was to use a black light in the bathroom (darkest room in our house).  Another Halloween twist on the play dough was to use Halloween cookie cutters in it.  Lyla LOVED this.  She is all about cookie cutters I’ve learned.  She loves taking the perfectly shaped product out the play dough and staking them up side by side.  It’s a adorable
