- "Experience" the Buffet. It's supposed to be the best in Mesquite. It was Asian cuisine that night and it rocked! Fabulous egg roles.
- Weather above 50 degrees
- Our ginourmous jetted tub
- Eatin ice cream and renting "Dan in Real Life" from our hotel room. I always love doing that bc it seems like such a luxury. The funny part was that the remote to the TV in our room didn't work right so we had to watch in on our other TV; in the front room. We pulled out the hide-away bed. It was just ironic bc we had the huge bed in the other room
- Gambling for the first time!!! (for me)
- Exchanging a 100-dollar bill into chips (we did it more for fun and of COURSE did not gamble it all away)
- Playing the tables like a high roller
This once was 85 dollars!!!
The first pull ever!!

I've discovered the coolest website on the planet! It's digital photo-book making software that "slurps" all the pictures and texts from your BLOG automatically. Meaning, you make a digital scrapbook completely off blog postings. It's like a photo journal of sorts. I've done books off shutterfly but this is much better bc my whole life is on this blog...so it works. Just thought I'd share!!!
Check it out...

*10 years ago:
I was 13 years old. I really can't remember that much about it. I was in middle school. I was likely hating life as most middle schoolers do. Sorry I can't think of much more.
*5 things on my to-do list for Wednesday or whatever day you do this
1. Walk Ty before work
2. Go to work
3. Write two papers on my lunch break
4. Call about Tys shots
5. Have girls night with my friend Alecia
*Things I Would Do If I Were Suddenly Made A Billionaire:
1. Buy a house...not anything too fancy, just nice amenities. Hot tub would be a must. Large closets, wood floor, a room for Ty.
2. Buy a Cabin...this sucker would be nice
3. Travel the world
4. Donate, donate, donate
5. Invest, invest, invest
6. Pay off my mom's house
7. Have like 15 Foster children
8. Buy Todd a boat and a snow mobile.
9. retire early
10. Use all my investments to buy a small Island off Figi (dream big right?)
*3 of my bad habits:
1. Bite nails
2. Perfectionism
3. Envy. I get jealous of others and bitter when I think things in life aren't fair...some people really do seem to have it all though!! UGH
* Jobs I've had
Tele-marketer, research assistant (at USU), worked with people w/ disabilities, youth counselor, PSR (Psycho-social rehab specialist), intern, intern, research assistant (at Uof U)
*Things most people don't know about me:
I am a hopeless romantic. I put up a facade that I'm a tough feminist (which I am), AND I believe things that lack all logic; like Todd was made for me etc. I even make myself sick at times!!
THATS IT!

This Saturday afternoon we met our friends Matt and Kay for a doggie play date at Tanner Park. Matt and Kay have three adorable hounds (all of which are 16X larger than Ty). They introduced us to Tanner Park which is a doggie park like I've never seen! You wind down this fairly steep trail to a canyon-like park. No grass or anything just hills, cliffs, tress, and water! What more could a dog need? This was so much fun! It's so great to be in the doggie network. All owners stop and chat about their dog as they pass...its so friendly! Of course everyone was doting over Ty. Ty had so much fun socializing with Matt and Kay's dogs. They were very patient with him. Ty was so wild and had so much fun. We read somewhere that Jack Russell's think they are twice the size they really are. This was so TRUE! Ty had no healthy sense of fear whatsoever. He ran up to every dog/human we passed. He actually barked at a Great Dane who's head was the size of Ty's whole body. My favorite part by far was just watching Ty be one of the boys (or girls) with the other dogs. He had to be jumping around the hounds the entire time. At one point Kay's dog Sparky started growling and fighting with a random dog...well Ty had to join in! He started growling and barking at this dog with no awareness that the dog was 3X his size. Ah haha. It was so great. Ty got SOOO muddy! By the end he was so exhausted we had to carry him. He has slept pretty much ever since then. Thanks Matt and Kay for the play date!!!
So I've been slacking on the updates lately. Last weekend (March 1st) We made the long trip to Cedar City to introduce Ty to my Family. My sister Melissa is such an animal lover and has been green with envy ever since we got Ty. So, it was only fair to introduce her early on. My sister Jenny also wants Elsie to have a dog, but since she is allergic (Jenny that is), Ty will serve as her "psuedo dog". We thought it best she meet him while he is young and non-threatening. The drive down actually went quite well. We stopped a few times for Ty to potty and he made the 4 hours without soiling our car...YIPPIE.
We had a great time there. We didn't really do much, just caught up the happenings and played with Ty....he got very spoiled while there bc my mom has a very, very large backyard. Needless to say, we spent most of our time out there. The ride home was also quite uneventful. Of course, the family loved Ty. Elsie kept saying "Oh! He's so cute mom, he so little...like me!". She also said "My dad won't let me have a dog"...haha. All in all, the trip was a success the Kunz family welcomed the new addition in loving fashion.

I'm part of a committee teaming up the "Love Your Body Week" at the U. Its a great effort to address body politics (my main interest) and eating disorders. As part of this I am presenting to all of our staff (psychologists and social workers) on the topic of body politics...I'm pretty nervous. Anyway, thanks to the Tanner Humanitarian Center we've gained some major attention. Check it out it you're interested!
