welcome to my internet home. this blog used to be cool, with insights about mental health, social policy, pop culture and the like. now, it's a chaotic collection of my mis-spelled, scribbled-down notes on motherhood (who has time to proof read?). it's over-ran with goldfish cracker crumbles, slobery wet kisses, and un-edited pictures. and i would have it no other way. feel free to laugh and cry along side me while I balance a practice (mental heath) and motherhood, and their interconectedness

Little Mother

Dear Lyla, you have become such a cute little mother.  You regularly line all your little babies up on the bed and cover them with blankets.  The other day, Dad and I watched you lay your bear down on the couch, take off her shorts, grab a diaper, wipes and rash cream and change your bear’s diaper!  It was maybe the cutest thing we’ve ever seen.  I didn’t want you to know I was watching so I sneakily snapped some photos that aren’t the best.  After you had her all changed, you went and grabbed your toothbrush and brushed her teeth!  It was the cutest and sweetest thing I’ve ever seen.  You are so sweet.  And a lovely Mommy friend.
