welcome to my internet home. this blog used to be cool, with insights about mental health, social policy, pop culture and the like. now, it's a chaotic collection of my mis-spelled, scribbled-down notes on motherhood (who has time to proof read?). it's over-ran with goldfish cracker crumbles, slobery wet kisses, and un-edited pictures. and i would have it no other way. feel free to laugh and cry along side me while I balance a practice (mental heath) and motherhood, and their interconectedness

The 4th

We hope everyone had a lovely Independence Day. We did the traditional 4th of July activities for Cedar. We went to the park, parade, had a BBQ (Todd did dutch oven potatoes and they were divine), and then watched the Fireworks. It was Ty's first parade and park event (he was still a bit too crack headish last year). I'm pretty sure it was the highlight of the year for him. Quite the stimulus overload. So many people to love on him and so many things for him to explore. You have to admit he looks pretty cute in his red bandana.
Plum tuckered out after the day's events
