welcome to my internet home. this blog used to be cool, with insights about mental health, social policy, pop culture and the like. now, it's a chaotic collection of my mis-spelled, scribbled-down notes on motherhood (who has time to proof read?). it's over-ran with goldfish cracker crumbles, slobery wet kisses, and un-edited pictures. and i would have it no other way. feel free to laugh and cry along side me while I balance a practice (mental heath) and motherhood, and their interconectedness

The Polar Express

Todd and I got the wonderful opportunity to ride the Polar Express Train hosted by the Heber Valley Railroad. This was probably the most adorable activity for kids I've ever been apart of!

To start, all the children line up by posts before they board the train. All the children are in their little pajamas. Then, the whistle blows and the conductor yells, "all aboard!!!" Everyone anxiously takes their seats and awaits take off. Once on our way elves come around and write your Christmas list to give to Santa. The cooks, in their white coats and hats (just like in the book) pass around hot chocolate and cookiesThen, Mrs. Clause visits and passes out her special recipe for the cookiesOnce our belly's were full, a storyteller passes out copies of the Polar Express Book and she reads the story aloud.Just as the book ends, we approach the North Pole. Outside we see Santa waiting for us!!Santa then boards the train to come visit everyone. While there, Santa passes out bells...just as in the real story, if you can hear them then you must believe in Santa Clause
We Believe!!
